The Abington Little League Board is please to announce the launching of our first ever major fund raising campaign.  The goal of this effort is to raise over $350,000.  This amount will allow us to pay of the mortgage and begin development of the property. 
      The Board will also be seeking funds from private grants, local and national business contributions, and government grants. 
     The "Diamond in the Rough" campaign is the opportunity for private citizens to get involved in the Ackerly project.

Ackerly Fairgrounds

As many of you already know "Abington Little League Inc." recently purchased the Ackerly fairgrounds after leasing this property for many years.

Changes Ahead

Ackerly currently houses four fields and a Jr./SR. field as well as providing practice fields for the little league players. The goal of the Abington Little League is to turn this facility into a topnotch, safe environment for both players and families in the Abingtons. We envision five regulation size fields, walking trails, bleachers, permanent refreshment stand and play ground area.

We Need your Support

Of course none of this will be possible without support from the community.  We are kicking off both a personal and corporate capital campaign along with applying for grant money hoping to raise much needed funds. The goal of our "Diamond in the Rough" campaign is $360,000.00.

The Abington Little League is a nonprofit organization operating under Little League Baseball rules and bylaws. We are governed locally by a board of directors consisting of parents, coaches and community members. All board positions are strictly volunteer.
